About our Family

We are a young, multi-generational farm.

Since settling in Delaware in 1988, our family-owned property has flourished as a hobby farm for over two decades, nurturing our passion for growing, teaching and crafting unique experiences. What began as a modest aspiration has evolved into three generations committed to intentional living in today’s fast-paced world. In 2015, the initial steps were taken to transition our cherished hobby farm into a fully operational agricultural enterprise.

With our official business opening in January 2022, we embarked on the journey of establishing a collaborative hybrid homestead family agro-tourism farm.

Abbotts & Oak Farms is not a traditional farm; it’s an innovative collaborative venture focused on nurturing lavender, cultivating cut flowers, and tending honeybees. We offer enriching agro-tourism experiences, educational workshops, versatile event spaces, and on-site accommodations.

Our mission

Our mission is to provide visitors with high-quality immersive experiences that celebrate the beauty of creation, offering a peaceful setting for intimate gatherings, events, and extended stays.

Around the Farm

Jeff & Patti Peck

Jeff & Patti Peck

When they are not traveling like the retired folks they are, Jeff and Patti enjoy working on the farm with their kids, spending time with their grandchildren, and helping make everything run smoothly. Patti is also our resident soap maker and is the reason many of us became interested in pursuing cleaner living.

Pablo & Brooke Chavez

Pablo and Brooke enjoy raising animals, growing more of the food their family needs, and exploring the world of sustainable farming. Brooke has been a riding instructor for 20+ years, and heads up our Homesteading for Homeschoolers program.
