Lavender in Delaware

Abbott's & Oak Farms in Milford is a family-run lavender and cut-flower farm in Sussex County — field rows in season, raw honey from our hives, u-pick when bloom allows, and botanicals tied to each harvest.

What we grow

English lavender and companion cut flowers on our Milford farm. Peak bloom shifts each year; we share field updates on Facebook when rows are ready for guests.

U-Pick season

Lavender u-pick and walk-up field visits depend on weather and bloom. We post openings on Facebook; our u-pick page covers timing, parking, and what to expect when dates are live.

Products

Lavender syrups, dried bundles, botanicals, and farm gifts — many ship from our online shop, with seasonal shelves at the farmstand when we are open.

Workshops & experiences

Hands-on sessions follow growing cycles, harvest, and small-batch making — see Experiences for lavender, bees, homesteading, and the full farm calendar.

Lavender farm FAQ

Where is the farm?

We're at 7910 Old Oak Lane in Milford, tucked into Sussex County about five minutes from town. The lavender and cut-flower rows are part of a working family farm, not a roadside attraction.

When can I visit or pick?

U-pick and field walks follow the bloom, so dates move every year with the weather. We post openings on Facebook as rows hit their peak, and our u-pick page covers parking and what to bring once dates are live.

What do you sell?

Dried lavender bundles, lavender essential oil, raw honey from our own hives, goat milk soap, cut flowers in season, and other farmstand goods. Much of it ships from the online shop, too.

Is this the same as other Delaware lavender farms?

No — we're an independent family farm in Milford. If you're looking for us specifically, it's Abbott's & Oak, not one of the similarly named lavender spots elsewhere in the state.
